I’m a big Porsche fan along with countless other diehard aficionados. When I heard the new 2017 Panamera was launching, I was enthralled by its new exterior design and interior touches. Taking cues from the Mission E concept interior, the dashboard is lovely and futuristic. However, when looking at their app experience, I couldn’t help but feel it was lacking the future-thinking that Porsche needed to stay in stride with other luxury automotive companies, namely Tesla. So, in keeping with my obsession of conceptualizing automotive dashboards and apps, I decided to create my vision of Porsche’s next automotive app.
A reimagining of the Porsche app with an experience that focuses on utility and personalization
Features such as cooling down your car before you hop in, unlocking the door, summoning your car (maybe wishful thinking at this point), and starting the engine are all immediately accessible.
This new concept is all about elevating the experience for the discerning driver. It helps you before your trip as well as during your trip, giving you a truly personalized and premium experience.
